Lot 118 - A Ford model T-10 Torpedo child’s car
Lot Number | 118 |
Estimate | £1,950 - £2,750 |
A Ford model T-10 Torpedo child's car, produced in the 1950s/60s
by McDonough power equipment of Georgia, a lawn mower company.
These were built mainly in the winter when lawn mowers were slow to
sell. This early example has a steel chassis, steel body with
fibre-glass wings and is finished in Henry Ford's famous black, it
is 175x86cm and has red seating. The petrol engine is in very good
working condition and the vehicle drives, steer's and stops as it
should. This is a very honest unmolested example of one of these
highly collectable vehicles.
