Lot 202 - 1991 Rover Metro C
|Odometer reading||23,361 miles|
|Result||Sold - £1,200|
The Metro is an economy car that was produced by the Austin Rover Group division of British Leyland and its successors. It was launched in 1980 as the Austin Mini Metro. During its 18-year lifespan, the Metro wore many names and was re-badged as the Rover 100 series in January 1995. At the time of its launch, the Metro was hailed as British Leyland's saviour as the company was facing a serious financial crisis. This Metro shows as two owners in the registration document although it has changed hands within the same family. It appears to be completely original and the mileage of 23,361 appears to be correct. Supplied with the original service books and an MoT test certificate valid until 31st July 2015 (no advisories), the car has had very little use in recent years, however, it has been stored correctly and presents in excellent condition. Finished in white with grey trim, this Metro is offered at no reserve.
