The Solex is a powered bicycle not a moped and was invented in 1946 in France as a low cost, reliable transport for a decimated country. It is a
classic design which, since its invention, has sold
over eight million units mainly in Europe and
Scandinavia. They have a tremendous reputation
for being fun, reliable and economic.
In the UK, the Solex has to be licensed, the
rider has to be 16 years or over and must wear a
crash helmet. The Solex's outstanding reliability
and performance figures, 23mph+ and
200+ mpg, make it just as attractive a
proposition for work or leisure today, as it was
when first introduced. This example is in extremely original condition and comes complete with rear panniers, correct bicycle brakes and bell.

Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Buyers are advised to inspect the car in person or use a professional to carry out this service.
