|Estimate||£6,000 - £8,000|

The Alfa Romeo Spider was manufactured from 1966 to 1993 and is widely regarded as a design classic, remaining in production for almost three decades with only minor aesthetic and mechanical changes. The three first series were assembled by Pininfarina in Grugliasco and the fourth series in San Giorgio Canavese; this was the last rear wheel drive Alfa Romeo. With this fourth series of production came mechanical and cosmetic changes; mechanically from the introduction of the Bosch Motronic electronic fuel injection with an electric fan and cosmetically, losing its front under-bumper spoiler and the rear boot spoiler picking up 164-style rear lights stretching across the width of the car as well as colour co-ordinated plastic bumpers.
This delightful Alfa Romeo is finished in yellow with black trim and has covered 81,000km from new. Imported into the UK in 1997 and converted to righthand drive by Bell & Colville, supplied with the original service book and all the UK MoT test certificates. The 1962cc engine runs very well and benefits from a recent top-end overhaul, new exhaust and hood. The car is supplied with a V5 registration document, current MoT test certificate and a history file with a number of bills/receipts. Owned by the vendor for the last five years, with summer upon us, this Spider Veloce represents stylish fun, open top motoring for a modest outlay.
