The Fiat X1/9 is a two-seater designed by Bertone and manufactured by Fiat from 1972-1982 and subsequently by Bertone from 1982-1989, In 1982, shortly after the introduction of the 1500 model, complete production was assumed by Bertone with models subsequently badged as the Bertone X1/9. With a transverse engine and gearbox in a mid-mounted, rear-wheel drive configuration, the X1/9 was noted for its excellent handling and lightweight-removable hardtop. It succeeded a 1969 show concept car called the Autobianchi Runabout with styling by Bertone under chief designer Marcello Gandini and, unlike Fiat's marketing nomenclature at the time; the X1/9 retained its prototype code as its marketing name.

This time warp X1/9 has covered less than 25,000 miles and is in fantastic condition throughout. Presented in metallic Mica Blue with blue velour trim and contrasting black targa roof, it has been protected underneath and dry stored for much of its life. We are assured by the vendor that this must be one of the country's very best examples and would be the pride of any club member or enthusiast. Offered with a ten month MoT test certificate and valid road fund license, original owners handbook and Haynes manual this lovely mid-engined Italian sports car is ready to be driven home.
