Lancia Fulvia's are notable for their role in automobile racing history, including winning the International Rally Championship in 1972 and were available in three variants: - 'Berlina' (4 door saloon) 'Coupe' and 'Sport'. The Rallye 1.3 HF was an updated HF with a new 1298 cc engine and with 101 bhp.

This 1968 Lancia Fulvia Coupe 1.3 Rallye historic road and rally car had been rally prepared by Richard Thorne in 2002 for historic regularity events. Ready for the 2014 season and finished in Lancia factory team colours of deep red with black interiors it is equipped with many features including: racing driver's seat with full harnesses, rear roll cage, up rated roll bars front and rear, competition clutch, quick shift gearshift, battery upgrade, Aeroquip brake hoses, Retro trip timing clocks, map light Cibie super Oscars and snow tyres.

Having only completed 2900 miles since February 2003, the car has been used sparingly since completion and remains in good order. The car as standard has an alloy bonnet, boot and door skins and as it was manufactured in 1968 so could be entered for some of the more prestigious classic rallies. The vendor tells us it is mechanically sound and comes with the original floors. The body is free from rust although the paintwork is beginning to show signs of its age.

An abundance of service history and documentation relating to the extensive work undertaken over the years accompanies the sale of this car as well as the original owner's manual and repair shop manual, this Rallye is also offered with a valid MoT test certificate until May 2015.
