|Odometer reading||134,000 miles|
|Estimate||£11,000 - £14,000|
The Porsche 964 was designed by Benjamin Dimson in 1986 and manufactured between 1989 and 1994. It featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models and was considered to be 85% new when compared to its predecessor. The 964 Carrera boasted a new naturally aspirated engine called the M64 with a flat six, 3.6 litre engine with power steering and ABS brakes added for the very first time. Exterior bumpers and fog lamps became flush into the car allowing for better aerodynamics and a new electric rear spoiler raised at speeds above 50mph. Revised instrumentation featured a large set of warning lights that were tied into the car's central warning system also adding to the sense of Porsche's legendary reliability.
This Carrera 2 Cabriolet on offer today has the desirable colour combination of metallic Diamond Blue with dark blue leather trim and a near new hood which was only recently replaced and, as such, is in excellent condition. The car comes supplied with a comprehensive Porsche main dealer and specialist service history; its last service being carried out by Northway Porsche, and the history file also contains many invoices and other documentation from the full engine rebuild carried out at 83,000 miles. Supplied with valid MoT test certificate and road fund licence, the lucky new owner can drive this Porsche away immediately after the sale.
