The Mercedes-Benz SL variant was a two-seat convertible/roadster
with standard soft top and hardtop and optional folding seats for
the rear bench. The SLC (C107) derivative was a two door hardtop
coupé with normal rear seats. The SLC is commonly referred to as an
'SL coupé', but in reality it was an S-class coupé, replacing the
former saloon-based 280/300 SE coupé in the Mercedes-Benz
This early 1973 SLC in metallic grey with black leather was originally purchased in South Africa and subsequently registered in the UK in 1987, a righthand drive automatic this Coupé benefits from newly refurbished wheels, boot seals and bonnet insulation coupled with a an MoT test certificate valid until May 2014. A beautiful example presented very well and having been lovingly restored to a truly useable future classic.
