|Odometer reading||110,840 miles|
|Result||Sold - £1,540|
Mercedes-Benz introduced the W123 four-door saloon in January, 1976. While there were some technical similarities to their predecessors, the new models were larger in wheelbase and exterior dimensions. The styling was also updated, although stylistic links with the W115 were maintained. Over the ensuing nine years, a number of modifications were made to the line-up and engine options but one of the most popular models to come out of Germany during that time was the W123.130; sold to the public as the 300D. An extremely versatile and efficient three litre saloon car with elegance on her side and with a build quality that has now made Mercedes-Benz the legend it is.
Originally a 280E, a 300D engine was recently fitted to increase fuel consumption. The electric sunroof is fully functional and it comes with electric windows and wing mirrors. Complete with a full one year's MoT test certificate as well as six months tax, V5 registration certificate and other paperwork, this well proportioned classic saloon is offered at no reserve.
