This Ford Hauler was imported to the UK in April 2010, having served with the 'Payson Arizona' Fire Brigade from 1942 to the 1960s. The vendor states the chassis and body are in superb condition and that the odometer reading of 15,500 miles could well be genuine given the overall condition, although we are unable to substantiate this reading.

The Ford flat-head V8 engine was rebuilt recently, and the whole truck was re-wired and new tyres were fitted. The vendor states 'This is a real gem of a CoE (Cab-over-Engine) chassis-cab that starts, runs, drives and stops as it should and sounds wonderful!'

The 'Rustic' decking mounted to the rear was fitted for filming and is made from pieces of film set, however it's easily removable should you prefer another look. The split windscreen opens for ventilation, the modern driver's seat is comfortable and the truck has real presence with delightful Art Deco styling.

Buyers should note all import duties have been paid and the truck is supplied with a certificate of authenticity by Marvel Studios confirming its involvement in the filming of Captain America- The First Avenger.
