The Morgan Plus 4 was the Morgan Motor Company's first car with four wheels, introduced in 1936 following the end of production of the famed three wheeled motorcycle engine models . Its model designation ""4-4"" (later ""4/4"") stood for four wheels and four cylinders.

Apart from a break during World War II (and the period March 1951 to September 1955) the 4/4 has been in continuous production from its debut right up to the present day and its engine capacity has increased from the 1122cc Coventry Climax engine in 1936 to a 1.8 litre Ford engine by 2004. The Plus 4 is a larger and more powerful version of the Morgan Motor Company's 4/4 model and was made between 1950 and 1969. The model was revived in 1985 and filled the gap between the 4/4 and the Plus 8 until 2000; it was again revived in 2005.

Always a popular choice for sports car enthusiasts across the globe, the combination of the typically British 1930's styling with its flowing wings, modern performance and reliability have ensured the Morgan is as popular today as it ever has been.

J601TBW is a righthand drive UK supplied manual example finished in the appropriate colour combination of connaught green coachwork with tan leather interior and chrome wire wheels. A desirable lowline specification car, this includes wide, low profile wheels, tyres and wide wings giving the car an even sportier stance. The vendor purchased the car from its first owner in March 2008 and it has covered a mere 15,169 miles from new. Whilst the mileage is very low for its year, this Morgan has been comprehensively serviced from day one and a log of the service history below confirms this.
