In 1974 Lamborghini replaced the groundbreaking Miura with the equally impressive Countach. Like the Miura the Countach blended a quad-cam V12 engine with futuristic Marcello Gandini styling, this time incorporating its own unique ""Gull-wing"" doors that opened vertically.

The Countach became an instant legend almost overnight. Claims of it being the fastest production car in the world with a totally impractical interior, the windows could only open a few inches and rearward visibility was virtually nil, just added to the mystique and poster appeal of the new Countach.

In 1982 the Countach received a larger, 5167cc, V12 which developed more torque. As well as the new engine, the Countach LP 500 also received larger air-vents and an optional rear ""Wing"" spoiler to boost the cars ostentatious image!

One of only 321 examples manufactured, this lefthand drive Lamborghini Countach has covered a mere 12,800 miles from new. Finished in white with white leather interior, B602AHX has been with the vendor for many years and has been dry stored during his ownership. Over the last two months it has had extensive work to get it running and looking as it should. Approximately 10 thousand pounds has just been spent at Lamborghini approved centres (H.R Owen and Acton Coachworks) and bills will be provided in the history file. Complete with an MoT test certificate and original service booklet, this well presented Countach would benefit from some minor paint work but is a most usable example of a true 1980s Supercar icon.
